Quality Inspection Of Threaded Stainless Steel Pipes

According to GB/T 12716-2011 "60° Sealing Pipe Threads" standard, this standard has added a thread inspection chapter (Chapter 11) and thread gauges (Appendix A) to ensure the thread quality of stainless steel threaded pipe fittings. Stainless steel threaded pipe fittings undergo quality control processes such as surface inspection and spectral analysis.

Stainless steel threaded fittings are pipe fittings with threads. They are commonly used for water and gas pipes, small-diameter water pipes, compressed air pipes, and low-pressure steam pipes. They are connected to threaded pipe ends to form pipelines. Appropriate adhesives (such as thick white paint, lead monoxide glycerin adhesive, etc.) can be applied to the threads to ensure a seal.
